4th-8th Dec 2018 I have spend a few days in the Dovrefjiell National Parc, Norway to photograph musk ox during winter conditions. However, there was a lot of ice on the tundra and not a lot of snow what made the conditions for hiking rather difficult. Our guide Sigbjorn was great and of course essential for the success of this adventure. As winter had just started with some flurries and very cold wind, I felt happy every evening to be back in a well heated cottage. It was a great experience to get carefully closer to these majestic animals and to understand more and more about them.
