Iceland Winter Tour Febr. 5 to 11, 2022

With my colleague and friend Pierre and a motivated and encouraging guide Byrian we spent a week in the winterly Iceland. The weather was playing out of control with strong winds and real blizzards that blocked all roads for some hours. But it added the special winterly touch to our trip and the landscape and discouraged people to go outside. I had realized, by seeing the huge parking lots close to one or the other sightseeing point, that we were lucky that the crowds that obviously may visit here, were absent.

I well understand that Iceland is an inspirational source for landscape photographers. Snow and ice make it quite easy to find interesting spots.
